- A CHARMING HIDEAWAY -
Once the home of the Estate gardener, this whitewashed stone cottage is tucked away deep in the Drynachan Valley and bounded by views across the winding River Findhorn.
Peeping out from the trees, you’ll spot Gardener’s Cottage. Unlock the door and step inside your Highland hideaway. In all our cottages, we’ve tried to strike the perfect balance of convenience and charm. That’s why you’ll find restored Victorian fireplaces, panelled walls and stone slab flooring. But, there’s everything you need to cook up a big breakfast before a day of cycling, hiking, or foraging.
Gardener’s Cottage has three bedrooms, a stunningly refurbished bathroom and a separate shower room. So, there’s plenty of space for a family trip in half term, or friends exploring the remoteness over a long weekend.
Whether you want to relax or explore, there’s plenty to do near Gardener’s Cottage. You could:
Tuck into Scottish seafood and seasonal menus at Sutor Creek Café at Cromarty; Book an afternoon fishing trip – the River Nairn is known for its wealth of salmon and trout; Take a trip to the famous Cawdor Castle; Pack a picnic and head to Findhorn Beach or Loch Morlich.
All properties include microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, TV & DVD player, iPod docking station and hairdryer. A welcome hamper is provided in the cottage for your arrival. All bed linen and towels are provided.
Logs and a stock of kindling are provided free of charge for the duration of your stay. Only adults may light and maintain fires and fireguards provided must be used.
It might feel like there’s nothing for hundreds of miles. But, Cawdor Village is just 9 miles up the road.
