Fisherman’s Cottage is always popular with our guests. Maybe it’s the views of one of Scotland’s most stunning rivers. Or the traditional furnishings and stove that make it feel homely.
The Findhorn River ebbs and flows through the Cawdor Estate for seven miles, brimming with salmon and trout. And Fisherman’s Cottage sits right on its bank. Whether you’ve spent the day fishing, or visiting a nearby castle, end the day with a board game in the wood-panelled sitting room. Or relax in front of the wood-burner, catching up over a local malt whisky.
With a modern, well-equipped kitchen, three bedrooms, refurbished bathroom and shower room, you certainly won’t feel on top of each other. There’s also modern insulation and full central heating so everyone is sheltered from the Highland chill.
Whether you want to relax or explore, there’s plenty to do near Fisherman’s Cottage. You could:
Practice your swing at Castle Stuart Golf Course– a course enjoyed by amateurs and professionals; Visit Brodie Castle where a new adventure playpark has just opened; Learn about monster mythology at the Loch Ness Centre & Exhibition centre; Explore the Speyside Malt Whisky Trail.
All properties include microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, TV & DVD player, iPod docking station and hairdryer. A welcome hamper is provided in the cottage for your arrival. All bed linen and towels are provided.
Logs and a stock of kindling are provided free of charge for the duration of your stay. Only adults may light and maintain fires and fireguards provided must be used.
Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life at Fisherman’s Cottage. The picture-perfect riverside retreat.
